Physical Education
Physical education encompasses all broad-based activities that aim to develop an individual's physical health, mental well-being, and physical skills, adaptable to environmental conditions and participant characteristics when needed. Sports, on the other hand, specialize in physical education activities into specific disciplines with formal rules, competitive settings, and strict regulations.
Atatürk's saying, “Sports is not just a matter of physical capability. Intelligence and morality also contribute to it. I like athletes who are smart, agile, and morally upright,” forms our fundamental philosophy.
